I’m pleased to post about this great fundraising project for KNTR. It was inspired in some part by my own actions here with Healthy Giving, and it is all in the same spirit – doing healthy things and helping get books to kids! So here’s a bit about a new fundraising project called HIKRZ – Hikers Inspiring Kids to Read Zealously.
I’m very happy to announce that I have some new prizes to offer as prize drawings at the end of the pledge drive! The Kids Need to Read Foundation has just sent me some very shiny swag that I think a lot of you (especially comic book fans) will enjoy!

The power of positivity has always been the greatest strength of the Browncoat community. We don’t just think we might be able to do something — we just do it! Healthy Giving exemplifies how the Browncoat can-do spirit leads to great things, in this case, generously using a personal commitment of well-being to reach out and give to a cause for good. The Kids Need to Read Foundation is grateful to Kazia for taking her personal challenge and using it to bring awareness and donations to our fight for childhood literacy.
